Mission, Vision and Values

 Introduction.

Kiota Women Health and Development Organization (KIWOHEDE) was registered in 1999, .Since her inception, in 1998 has reached a large number of children, girls and young women and the general public including men ..The organization has a Board which comprise seven members including University lecturers, Judge, Communication officer, Private sector, child rights/labour expert, senior government officer, and a reverend, The Board seats three times a year, currently the chairperson is Prof. Hosea Rwegoshora. The main organization office is in Buguruni Malapa House number 22, KIWOHEDE street ,Ilala Municipal , P.O.Box 10127 Dar es salaam, email katri@kiwohede.org ,jmwaituka@yahoo.co.uk ,justa.mwaituka@gmail.com .The Current head of the organization is Ms.Justa Mwaituka, who runs the programme with support from 122 staff across the country .Assisted by the Finance and administrative officer Eric Edward Mwamule, Programme Manager , Emmanuel Yohana and Organisation administrator  Eddah Kawalla including other Project staff ,community leaders, members and volunteers/interns and children themselves. KIWOHEDEs work is guided with its constitution, administrative and financial manuals, child safe guarding policy, gender policy, logistic and procurement policies, , organization gender policy and a strategic plan for 2019-2023.The organization produces the annual narrative and financial reports.The organization financial year reckoned from 15th - 31st December.

Mission

KIWOHEDE exists to contribute to the elimination of all forms of abuse, sexual violence, and exploitation through policy and community engagement, reproductive health and institutionalization of strategies to prevent, rescue , rehabilitate and integration mechanisms for vulnerable and affected children, youth and women .The mission and programming areas of KIWOHEDE is further realized through the desired impact in protecting children and in particular girls from all source of abuse, violence and exploitation at the national, and community levels. Engage Local authorities and the public in supporting the organization to curb injustice to children and women..
