Description: Sauti Project, As of 2017, KIWOHEDE as sub-grantee to USAID funded project called Sauti, entered into second fiscal year through USAID grantee (Jhpiego) to implement Sauti Project by implanting Biomedical , Structural and BCC interventions in fourteen wards in Kyela District Council . The Sauti is the Project, awarded by USAID to Jhpiego and partners EngenderHealth, Pact and the National Institute for Medical Research (NIMR) Mwanza on 9 February 2015, seeks to contribute to the improved health status of all Tanzanians through a sustained reduction in new HIV infections in support of the United Republic of Tanzania’s (URT) commitment to HIV prevention. The program utilizes new, and/or enhances existing, vulnerability-tailored, high-quality combination HIV prevention; positive health, dignity and prevention (PHDP); and family planning (FP) services for key and vulnerable populations (KVP).
